The Manuel de Oráa y Arcocha Prize, organised by the Official College of Architects of Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro, recognises the best completed works in the islands over a three-year period, celebrating excellence across new builds, restorations, interiors, landscape, and public space . In its 2018–2020 edition—formally presented during the Architecture Week on October 8, 2021—three of our projects were selected for the catalogue: Casa La Toscalera, Church of Alcalá, and Casa Diablos Locos, also included in the exhibition .
Seeing these works featured together maps a story of thoughtful presence across a restored patio, a coastal church, and an old house returned to life—all rooted in local context and materiality. Far beyond award labels, their inclusion feels like a sincere nod to projects that chose care over scale, and connection over spectacle.
